Burnham Planning & Development is proud to announce planning commission approval for a new 129,300 square feet warehouse with office space.
We helped with due diligence work on a few sites for Centerpoint, a development company that is wholly owned by CalPERS, before choosing this site and are happy to get it entitled. The project was built-to-suit for Ta Chen International, which specializes in stainless steel and aluminum distribution. The project will serve as the west coast headquarters for the company.
We also assisted in the permitting work. We ran entitlements and building plans in parallel on this project and had most of the project ready to issue when entitlements were obtained. Some problems we encountered along the way were dealing with the neighborhood groups and getting CEQA work done. The process overall went fairly smoothly and we’re proud to help keep improving Long Beach.
